Adoption – Coffee Cat Café

Are you interested in adopting one of our cats? That is wonderful! The best way to determine your purr-fect match is to come into Coffee Cat Café and meet our adoptable cats. Much like humans, each cat has their own personality which makes for a truly unique match-making process. Our trained staff and volunteers will help guide you through this process and help you find the best fit for your family. It is important to understand your current lifestyle, time spent at home, availability to own a cat, and whether you are willing to make a long-term commitment to another animal in your life. The goal of adoption is to add enrichment and love to both our cats’ lives and the lives of their owners.

All of the cats at Coffee Cat Café are spayed/neutered, tested for feline leukemia and Feline AIDS, receive vaccinations for feline Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Rabies (if age appropriate), are dewormed, and receive monthly flea prevention.

What Do you Need to Do Before Adopting a CAT:

Determine your family's needs and time for a new cat. This will help you decide on age, gender, and activity levels that will best meet both your cat’s and your needs. We, of course, can help you find the purr-fect match as well!
Cat-ify your home! This is almost the best part. Purchase items that will enhance your cat’s life and provide basic necessities such as cat toys/ trees, a litter box with litter, and food and water bowls.
Have a Veterinarian close by that can treat your kitty for both emergencies and preventative medications.

OUR Process:

Meet your for-ever cat at Coffee Cat Café and spend some time getting to know them!
Click on the picture of the cat you are interested in adopting. The information will appear as to which rescue has provided that cat and the instructions will follow. Since we work with different rescues, each has their own criteria and process for submitting an application.
Submit an application or inquiry for the cat you would like to adopt. Once this is done, a representative from that organization will reach out to you and discuss adoption criteria.
Fees for adoption are set by each rescue and will get paid directly to the rescue via PayPal, SINPE, or Bank Transfer. These fees go directly towards the care each cat received when rescued including vaccines, castration, surgeries, medical care, and food.
Bring a hard or cloth carrier to take home your precious cargo home. We do not allow any cats to leave the café without a safe way of transporting them to your car and home. Cardboard boxes and cat leads are not acceptable as the cat may escape or be frightened by loud noises upon exiting the cafe.
